Senior Professional with more than 25 years’ experience in Consultancy, Strategic Advisory, Policy Research, for International Accounting Standards (IFRS and US GAAP) for Global FII, Banks and Infrastructure Organizations.
After graduating as a Chartered Accountant, I pursued two professional degree course simultaneously, Company Secretary and LL.B. A scholarship to study Masters in Finance at the prestigious Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany is the most notable achievement for me. I really felt very lucky… as I landed working with global entities in Europe ~ PwC, NFS SL, and in India Standard Chartered Bank, Societe’ Generale, HSBC and Credit Suisse.
Authored two books - The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 published by Himalaya Publications (national sales in India) and Financial Instruments Standards - A Guide on IAS 32, IAS 39 and IFRS7 published by McGraw Hill Education (international sales).
The rewards for putting in lot of overtime is the honour of being awarded the 1st position as CA Young Leader for demonstrating exceptional courage, excellence and thorough professionalism in India Inc!
My professional associations were as a nominated member at the Accounting Standard Board (ASB) and CFO Committee of SEBI.
